Sound of Faith with Sharon Hardy Knotts and R. G. Hardy
The Parable of the Tares, Part 2
11/4/2025
In this story, both the wheat and the tares are not the Word, but people. Christians produce wheat, and children of the devil produce tares, which are poisonous. In the early stages, they look exactly alike; in fact, tares were called false wheat. But when fully grown, wheat is brown, but tares are black. It is hard to separate them, because the roots are entwined, and pulling up the tares can pull up young wheat. When its seeds are eaten by birds and beasts, it causes intoxification, vertigo, convulsions, and even death. Satan sows tares in the church among the saints where they are asleep, spiritually unaware, and never more than in this day of false teachers and prophets.
