Today (5.15) Forrest Frank released “Jesus is Alive Vol. 1” via River House Records. The 20-track collection features collaborations from Frank’s viral Open Verse Challenge in which Christian, hip-hop, pop, and R&B artists created their own verses to his recent single “Jesus is Alive.”
The Jesus is Alive Open Verse Challenge has gained immense traction on Instagram and TikTok (surpassing over 10M views on Instagram alone), with Forrest’s track inspiring artists and fans alike to share testimonies through their own created verses. Today’s album release highlights 20 challenge submissions, including New Kid on the Block’s Donnie Wahlberg, Lost & Found, Pastor Marcus Rogers and more.
“Jesus is Alive” is Frank’s second viral success within one week, with his May 3 release of “OKAY!”, already surpassing 200K creates online and 2M global streams after being dropped as a Sunday surprise.
Frank will begin the SOLD-OUT Jesus Generation Tour in Tulsa, OK on 6.1. Performing with Tori Kelly, Cory Asbury, and The Figs, The Jesus Generation Tour will be Forrest’s largest headline tour to date, with shows at stadiums and arenas across major markets including New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago.
